  • Morningside College of the Chinese University of Hong Kong
  • Modeled after the colleges of Oxford and Cambridge, Morningside College is a residential college within the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Under the guidance of its founding master, Nobel Laureate Sir James Mirrlees, the College had its first intake of students in 2010.

  • Morningside Music Bridge
  • Young, talented, Classical musicians from China, Canada and Poland come together each summer for master’s classes at the Mount Royal College Conservatory of Music in Canada. Graduates of the Morningside Music Bridge have gone on to win prestigious awards from competitions such as the Paganini International Violin Competition, the International Frederic Chopin Piano Competition for Young Artists Award and the International Tchaikovsky Competition.   • Morningside Scholars Program Zhejiang University
  • Thirty of the University’s 5,000 freshmen each year are selected to enroll in this honors program. The Morningside Scholars complete extra coursework in Chinese civilization and global issues as well as engage in overseas internships.

  • Since 1996, Morningside has provided 500 scholarships annually to students at the following Chinese universities:

    - Fudan University
    - Peking University
    - Shanghai Jiaotong University
    - Tongji University
    - Tsinghua University

  • Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health
  • In September 2014, the Morningside Foundation made an unrestricted gift of $350 million to Harvard University to support its School of Public Health which was ┬árenamed Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

Support science

  • Morningside Center for Mathematics Chinese Academy of Science
  • Founded by Morningside and the Chinese Academy of Science in 1996, the Center for Mathematics provides a training ground for young Chinese mathematicians under the guidance of Fields Medalist Professor Shing-Tung Yau.

  • International Congress of Chinese Mathematicians
  • A triennial event, the Congress now attracts over 1,000 mathematicians from around the world. In each Congress, two Morningside Medals are awarded to young Chinese mathematicians in pure mathematics and two in applied mathematics.

  • Morningside Professorships
  • - The Morningside Professorship in Radiobiology at the John B. Little Center for Radiation Science, Harvard School of Public Health; established in 2012

    - The Morningside Professorship in Life Sciences, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology; established in 2012

    - The Morningside Professorship in Chemical Biology, Hong Kong University; established in 2007

  • Summer Schools in Biological Sciences
  • Designed to encourage undergraduate students in Greater Asia to pursue PhD studies in the life sciences, the summer school programs introduce the students to reading research papers and conducting original laboratory research.
